As part of the organization's advocacy initiatives, NASP hosts an annual Legislative Symposium with key financial oversight representatives and decision-makers from congressional committees, federal and regulatory agencies and quasi-public private sector entities. The symposium typically takes place during Congressional Black Caucus week in Washington, DC.
This year, our Symposium will focus on legislation proposed by Congresswomen Beatty and Waters that will require boards to actively solicit proposals from diverse asset management firms. We will also feature a continuation of our discussion regarding opportunities with GSE’s, an update on efforts to increase Diversity at the State of New Jersey and a primer on the latest in the Opportunity Zone markets!
This event is COMPLIMENTARY for current NASP members, plan sponsors, and federal agency staff/board. You can join NASP at this link: https://bit.ly/2OT8JqB. The registration fee for non-members is $495. Non members will be invoiced.
